With expecting a 20 percent subsidy from the government, the car would be priced around Rs.11 Lakhs for consumers. Tata recently showcased its Tata Tiago EV at Auto Expo 2018. Tata Tiago EV is expected to be cheaper than Tata Tigor EV and will be priced around Rs.8 lakhs making it a potential substitute for. The Tiago EV is expected to have a range of 120 kilometers with top speed of 135 km/hr.Tata will also be launching an electric version of its Nano soon. This Tata electric Nano will be renamed as Jayem Neo based on their partner Jayem Automotives who will be supplying the electric powertrain for electric Nano.
