Download San Andreas Serbia Patch
Ok, so long story short: I want the pure and untouched original 1.0 retail version of GTA:SA (not a cracked one) to later be able to update it to 1.01 via the official patch, which can be found. Flea markets.Pawn Shops.E-Bay and the like. The Official Patch v1.01 makes the v1 game Unmoddable.' Downgrading' does NOT make a v2, v3, game a Version One, it ONLY allows the use of v1 Mods in the otherwise unmoddable game versions. The version 2 and Downloaded v3 games already have the Official Patch information included, There is no Retail v1.01 that is the v1 game where the user has installed the Official Patch. It is not worth the trouble to look for a Version One game, IF you are going to Official Patch it with v1.01, Just buy a V2 copy. And do not bother to 'Downgrade'. Just use like most people do, and what mods expect, with SilentPatch.
It adds clean cars, 16:9 resolutions, color of destroyed vehicles, and 30fps. In the v1.01 there are no other important changes, and not sure why you'd want that, let alone 2.0.I didnt use myself, but if its okay it can stay, I wouldnt preffer downloading SilentPatch, cause it can ruin speedruns, as you cannot have Silentpatch and you must have 25 (frame limiter on) fps, which on Silentpatch is 30 fps, so it can fully ruin your runs.Edited December 30, 2018 by Mingebag'little correction on frame limiter. It's a great mod, but it's still a mod, my idea is to keep the save as clean and pure as possible. As Joshimuz said himself in the tweet: no mods are allowed in master saves.
I'm not sure about that, for the sake of the doubt I'm going with this philosophy. Flea markets.Pawn Shops.E-Bay and the like.'

.Ugh, been saying this for years as well. Hell even going as far as to say GTA games as a whole are plentiful, thus making them some of the cheapest games for any system. BUT getting a Version 1 San Andreas for the PC going into 2019 IS definitely only going to get harder and harder.

Pawn Shops / Video Game retro stores, as far as I've seen in the Midwest won't even bother trying to sell older PC games, since they take up wasteful space and are hard to sell. Same goes for flea markets.Ebay is usually a great go-to, but just now I only see a couple of copies for sale, price isn't bad asking around $10.00-$20.00 and of course advertised Version 1 or ( HOT COFFEE) always comes with a stupid asking price of $30.00-$50.00.
( Don't buy these, lol )Sold listings restores some faith, with many Version 1 PC copies of San Andreas still sold around the $6.00-$15.00 so patience is going to be a factor for those wanting the original copy.UPC to look for is 7 4 7. Interesting that.
Any DVD games sold labeled v1.01 are counterfeit. The Official patch v1.01 is only applied to the V1.0 Game by the User, the Only published game was the V2 which contains the fixes of the V1.01 patch. A Version DVD v1.01 was never published as such (It was/is the Second Edition aka v2).I bought the one from Cenega, it's a polish company for games, that are with polish translation, I ain't sure but I thought mine is 1.0, maybe it's 2.0, I am empty at this point since I don't know the thing, I also don't have hot coffee.
'Legally' or non-cracked (which is the same as no-CD), you can try online sites like eBay. Or even Rockstar Warehouse website offers a digital download but who knows what version they offer. You can look up San Andreas: Speedrun / LiveSplit Setup by KZ Frew on YouTube. This takes a Steam version from 3.0 to 1.0 no-CD (through downgrader) to 1.0 retail to 1.01 retail (through Rockstar updater) to 1.01 no-CD (it's Steam you don't have CD).I wouldn't really call it piracy or feel bad to use no-CD or 'cracked'. You already paid for the game, and probably multiple times over multiple platforms. There's really no point in paying again or going for a scavenger hunt, even if you buy a disk, likely future computers won't even have a disk tray and it'll be just a collection piece. It's only piracy if you never paid in the first place.Aside from this, 1.01 is also not the best version.
SilentPatch is the best version, all bugs fixed and console features brought to PC.1.01 is only good for Speedruns because speedrunners prefer the retail experience and would need a speedrunners version. But there's even SilentPatch in some runs allowed, just not top 10/20 etc.
WARNING: Piracy, Torrents, Warez, Cracked Games, any use of Original File (an act of piracy) is not condoned or accepted on tis Forum.Even 'Down Grading' is a dubious action.Actions to Avoid paying Rockstar their due is Theft. It has been noted prior, that some Governments make Piracy of this game a 'normal' way of doing business. It is not a valid excuse to circumvent Copyrights.Nothing wrong with downgrading. All downgrading does is allow you to revert an updated version of SA to the first original version 1.0.
This is simply to allow you to mod it, because it's mostly v1.0 that allows SA to be modded. There is no copyright infringement or piracy involved, so I don't see how it is 'dubious'?? I th ink the term 'Limited Edition' came from the community prior to the offi cial release of the 'Special Edition' for the Playstation 2. If that's what you're after then you will be paying around the $15.00-$25.00 range .I bought limited edition gta sa DVD PC for 7.49GBP and i sent a message to the owner about which version he has and he said tha he dispatched the game and he cant see.I have bought gta sa 2.0 gta sa steam gta sa ps4 and now i ordered the gta sa limited edition but i dont know which version is the game.I want to be 1.00 to update to 1.01 and then i will have all the versions of gta sa pc.I did this beacuse i really love this game and i want to compare side by side all the pc versions of gta sa. Don't get it myselfLol why are you against modding SA so much?
WowPlease, understand. That we're not against modding. Just that it makes no sense for a player (vs a Collector) to go to the trouble to find and get an Original DVD v1 game and not want to mod it. And Especially to get the Original DVD v1 and apply the Official Patch v1.01 to prevent modding it. When the DVD v2 or Download v3 already has the patch applied.Playing has no significant chages, just minor graphics and problems. There is no gain, it is a retro grade move. Please, understand.
